Ms. Sandstedt is a licensed clinical social worker with extensive experience in working with both children and adults with cancer. At Kaiser, she helps to provide counseling, education, advocacy, resources, and support to patients diagnosed with cancer and kidney disease, and their families. This involves connecting patients and families with appropriate resources for intervention to meet necessary adjustments to the illness. Previously at The Children's Hospital, she coordinated psychosocial care for children, teens and young adults diagnosed with Pediatric cancer. A member of the Association of Oncology Social Work, she has spoken frequently on "Parents Perspective on Survivorship."
